Connecting your calendar

Connect Microsoft 365 or Google Calendar and your upcoming meetings import automatically, so Meeting Prep is ready before each one. LetEmily only reads the calendar you connect: it never reads your email or general chat history.

How do I connect my calendar?

From Settings, choose Integrations, then connect Microsoft 365 or Google. You will be sent to that provider’s own sign-in page to approve the connection, then returned to LetEmily.

You can also connect a calendar during the setup wizard the first time you sign in.

  1. Go to Settings, then Integrations.
  2. Select Microsoft 365 or Google.
  3. Sign in and approve the connection on that provider’s page.
  4. You are returned to LetEmily with your calendar connected.

What does LetEmily import from my calendar?

Only the meetings on the calendar you connect: the title, time, and, where the event provides them, the description and the list of attendees.

LetEmily never reads your email or your general chat history, and nothing joins the call itself: Emily only needs to know a meeting is happening.

Is Google Calendar always available?

Microsoft 365 is available to every account. Google Calendar’s availability can depend on where Google is in reviewing our app; if it is not available yet for your account, the Google option in Settings will say so.

What about Zoom?

Zoom in LetEmily generates a meeting link for a meeting you schedule. It is not a calendar integration: it does not sync a calendar or your Zoom account’s meeting history, and there is no separate Zoom sign-in step.

Can I disconnect my calendar later?

Yes, at any time, from Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting stops new meetings from importing; it does not delete meetings you have already recorded.

Common questions

Which calendars are supported?

Microsoft 365 (Outlook Calendar) and Google Calendar.

Does connecting my calendar give LetEmily access to my email?

No. LetEmily requests access to your calendar only, not your email or chat messages.

A meeting I scheduled is missing. What should I check?

Newly scheduled meetings typically appear automatically without any action from you. If one is missing, check that your calendar is still connected in Settings → Integrations.
