What Emily can see and can’t see

Emily only knows what you have written or connected within your own LetEmily workspace: your notes, meetings, and the calendar or Slack workspace you connect. She has no access to another manager’s data, cannot read your email or general chat history, and does not decide anything about a person on her own.

Where does Emily’s knowledge come from?

Entirely from what you put into LetEmily yourself: the notes you write, the meetings you record or import, and the commitments you track. Emily has no other source of information about the people you manage.

Can other managers or admins see my notes?

No. Your notes belong only to your own workspace, and other managers using LetEmily cannot see them. If your company has an administrator managing your LetEmily account, the tools available to them show usage information, not the content of your notes.

What can my integrations actually see?

Each connection is limited to a specific, narrow purpose.

  • Calendar (Microsoft 365 or Google): the meetings on the calendar you connect, including the description and attendee list where the invite provides them. Not your email, and not calendars you have not connected.
  • Slack: only what is sent directly to LetEmily: a slash command, a mention, or a direct message. LetEmily cannot read your channel history.
  • Zoom: only generates a meeting link. It does not access your Zoom account’s own data.

Does Emily see my note content when she prepares me for a meeting?

Meeting Prep, available on Free, is deterministic: it recalls what is already stored, with no AI involved. AI Meeting Prep, the Pro feature that adds participant insights and discussion points, works from note titles, sentiment, and counts, not the full text of your notes.

Does Emily see my note content anywhere?

Yes, in Ask Emily. When you ask Emily a question about your team, relevant notes and meeting history, including note content, are used to generate her answer. This only draws on your own recorded context, and, as with every AI feature in LetEmily, your data is never used to train AI models.

Can Emily make changes on her own?

No. Emily can point things out and, in some cases, show you what she would do, but nothing is created, changed, or deleted in LetEmily without you doing it yourself.

Does Emily score, rank, or evaluate anyone?

No. LetEmily does not produce performance ratings, engagement scores, or rankings, for your team or for you. Emily points out things worth noticing; what to do about them is always your judgment.

Common questions

Is this employee monitoring?

No. Emily only works from notes a manager chooses to write about their own conversations with someone. She does not track activity, read messages, or monitor anyone.

Can I delete what Emily knows about someone?

Yes. Deleting or editing a note removes it from what Emily can see, and you can export or delete your full account data at any time from Settings → Privacy & Data.

Is my data encrypted?

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit, and connection tokens are encrypted at rest.
