Ask Emily: what she can do today

Ask Emily, a Pro feature, is a conversation with an assistant that already knows the context you have recorded about your team. She can answer questions and help you think through a situation. She cannot make a change on her own: nothing is created, edited, or deleted in LetEmily unless you do it yourself.

Where do I find Ask Emily?

Ask Emily has its own place in the app, and it also opens from a person’s profile or from a meeting brief when you want to talk through something specific. Wherever you start from, the conversation lands in the same history, so you can pick it back up later.

What can I ask her?

Anything about the team you manage: a question about someone’s history, help thinking through a difficult conversation, or a second opinion before a 1:1. She answers from the notes and meetings you have recorded, never from anyone else’s team.

Can Emily make a change for me, like adding a note or a commitment?

Not yet, on either plan. She can recognize when you are asking for something like that and show you what she would do, but nothing is created, changed, or deleted on her own. Every change you want made in LetEmily, you make yourself.

Is Ask Emily available on Free?

No, it is a Pro feature. It still appears in the navigation on Free so you know it exists; opening it prompts you to upgrade.

Does Emily remember past conversations?

Yes. Every conversation is saved and you can return to it later from Ask Emily’s own history.

Common questions

Will Emily ever take an action without me approving it first?

Not today. Nothing in LetEmily is created, changed, or deleted except by an action you take yourself.

Can I ask Emily about a team I do not manage?

No. She only ever works from your own recorded context, never another manager’s team.

Are my conversations with Emily private?

Yes, the same as your notes: only you can see them.
